Spencer Richlin, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Spencer Richlin is a staff physician and specialist in reproductive endocrinology
at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut.
Prior to joining RMA, Dr. Richlin served on the faculty of Loma Linda University School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics. He had practices at both Loma Linda University Center for Fertility and In Vitro Fertilization and at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, California. Dr. Richlin is a member of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He is Board Certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Richlin’s research interests include uterine cavity proteins as they relate
to implantation, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and IVF as it relates
to ovarian reserve testing. He has published numerous abstracts, articles
and book chapters, and is the lead author of the IVF section of Danforth’s
Obstetrics and Gynecology, 9th Edition, one of the primary texts
and reference works in the field.
Dr. Richlin received his undergraduate degree in psychology from The
University of California at Berkeley, and his medical degree from the
University of Southern California School of Medicine. He served his
internship and residency at The Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut
from 1995-1999. Dr. Richlin then completed his subspecialty
fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at
Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he carried
out research projects in in vitro fertilization and intrauterine lesions
such as fi broids and polyps.
